- Spark plugs: Obviously your car wont even start if your spark plugs are not working. They are the mechanism that ignites the mixture of gas in pistons in order to provide power through combustion. - Brakes: This is likely the most important part of your vehicle to keep track off. Not being able to stop can obviously lead to some pretty serious accidents. Break pads should typically be replaced about every 20,000 miles. Because break pads are so important, getting your car serviced by a professional auto repair service is always a good idea. But like the spark plugs, you should consult the manual just in case.
- Tires: In conjunction with the breaks, bad tires could pose some serious risks; especially if it recently rained or snowed. Not only should tires regularly be inflated to the recommended tire pressure levels, but rotating your tires every 6,000 miles can promote uniform tire wear. If there is any damage or wearing present then they should be replaced.
There’s no telling when your car might fail you, but getting your car serviced can protect you before it’s too late. Automotive repair is a small price to pay for your safety.
