You probably pass by Subaru vehicles on the road or in parking lots each day, but how much do you know about the brand? Here are three things you might not know about Subaru:
1. Their Origins Weren’t Exactly from the Ground Up
Subaru has become famous as a car company, but they weren’t always in that field. To be more clear, Subaru found its origins in an airfield rather then the automotive field. They were known as The Aircraft Research Laboratory in 1915 and remained in that field for a long time before the Subaru parent company, Fuji Heavy Industries, diversified. Subaru of America wasn’t born until a late 1968!
2. Their New Vehicles Offer More Variety Than You Would Expect
Subaru has a large variety of vehicles to chose from, in all sorts of colors and models. For every model of passenger car they offer, however, Subaru has taken upon itself to offer a turbocharged version of that car for additional power. This includes vehicles like the Impreza WRX.
3. Subaru Has Become Bigger Than Anyone Expected
Whether you’re buying from new car dealers in a Subaru dealership, considering taking advantage of the Subaru guaranteed trade in program, or buying used Subaru parts or vehicles from used car dealers near you, the odds are you’ve considering doing business with Subaru, and you definitely wouldn’t be along. Subaru started small, but they’ve grown to be the twenty sixth largest automaker by production in the world as of 2011. Things like that Subaru guaranteed trade in program have made it a beloved brand everywhere. What do you think of Subaru? Read more blogs like this. References.
